Macmillan Charity Day 22nd June

This year we are holding a charity fun day which will comprise of golf, auction and a social.

The golf will be a shotgun start at 11am and will be a 4 person team with 2 scores to count and all four to count on the 18th. The competition will be over 18 holes, 9 of which will be ‘green keepers revenge’. Players will be able to purchase mulligans (£10 for 3) and there will be a ‘beer buggy’ available during the golf – please bring cash!

After the golf there will be entertainment and an auction. Breakfast barms will be available in the morning and sandwiches and pasties afterwards.

We have had some fantastic items donated from local football and rugby clubs for the Silent Auction including:

Manchester City Shirt signed by John Stones
Signed Manchester United Shirt
Signed Manchester United Ball
Signed Bolton Wanderers Shirt
Signed Bolton Wanderers Ball
Signed Leeds Rhinos Rugby League

All the items will be available to view during the day of the competition.

I hope as many members as possible will come and support this event by either playing in the competition or bringing their families after the golf.

This is all for a great cause, if any member could help with setting up the course or could donate towards the auction it would be very much appreciated.

Competition entries will be £6 per player including comp fee, nearest the pin, 2s and nearest pin in two on the 18th.

Bookings will be on HowDidiDo and opened on 5th June.
