Good Friday fun in our Easter Egg Competition
The skies were blue and the spirits high as Harwood Ladies tee’d off for our annual Easter Egg Competition on Good Friday. All decked out with seasonal headgear or bunnies’ ears and fortified by Hot Cross buns, there was a great turnout for this popular event. After months away from the golf course and with some pretty rusty techniques for many, it was clear everyone was just delighted to be out on the course, playing golf and socialising, in a distanced way, with golfing chums! The views in the sunshine were spectacular. And all competitors were treated to an Easter gift courtesy of Lady Captain and Lady President. Things are looking up and there is a real feeling of optimism. And the course was looking fantastic after the hard work carried out by grounds staff and volunteers during lockdown.
