Oh what a night!
The Annual Dinner and Awards Evening for Lancashire Golf took place on 17th October at the Worsley Marriott Hotel and what a night it turned out to be! Harwood’s Carol Brooking received a prestigious award for her contribution to women’s golf in 2025. Carol spoke passionately about her initiative to get secondary and primary school girls into golf, Driving Girls’ Golf. Carol has established important partnerships with Bolton schools and Bolton Schools Alliance. She has also dedicated herself to mentoring our new women members throughout the year, and in so doing is playing a pivotal role in growing our Women’s section. Well done, Carol. What an achievement – you are putting Harwood firmly on the map!!
