Ryder Cup Event
All was not lost when the dreadful weather closed the golf course last Wednesday and therefore the much-anticipated Ryder Cup event organised by Lady Captain and Lady Captain Elect had to be cancelled. After some last minute re-organising the event turned into an indoor games contest with fierce competitiveness and banter. Quoits, carpet bowls, Jenga, putting, chipping and darts were the battle grounds followed by a quiz and USA were victorious in the end, but we were all winners because we had such a fabulous day!!
