Harwood Ladies hosted their annual Open Team Event on 27th May. Despite a biting wind, visitors and members alike enjoyed a great day and the course was in superb condition. The Texas Scramble format provided a fun but challenging competition. The results were as follows:

• 1st Prize (62 on a card play-off) Janet Ayres (Harwood), Alison Jennings (Bury) and Kookie Morgan (Old Links) (£40 each)
• 2nd Prize Sue Docherty (Harwood), Gill Rogers (Harwood) and Sue Hazlitt (Old Links) (£30 each)
• Visitors’ Prize D Fox, E Barlow and L Jackson (Greenmount) (£20 each)
• Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive (Silver) and Longest Drive (Bronze) were won by Anne Preston, Kookie Morgan and
  Sue Manning respectively. (£10 each).
