Texas Scramble at Harwood
It was another great day at Harwood Golf Club on 19th May as the Ladies’ Section hosted its annual Spring Open. With a full field of 20 teams, a Texas Scramble format and a lovely sunny (mostly!) and warm day, a good day was had by all. The results were as follows:-
- 1st with a score of 58 – Helen Radcliffe (Harwood), Gill Rogers (Harwood) and Pravita Parmar (Regent Park) Pictured below.
- 2nd on a card play off with a score of 62 Gillian Crofts (Harwood), Lorna Hart (Harwood) and Val Hinchley (Turton)
- Visitors’ Prize with a score of 63 Jackie Fenton, Shirley Hancock and Jan Bennett (Breightmet)
- Longest Drive Handicaps 0-20 Carol Helme
- Longest Drive Handicaps 21-40 Wendy Gudger
- Nearest the Pin Joyce Watson (Rossendale)
