The Bell Cup 2021 Campaign Starts!
On 9th April, very soon after a long absence from the golf course due to the pandemic, Harwood Ladies embarked on their first-round match in this prestigious Manchester & District Ladies’ Golf Association competition. The draw from 2020 was carried over into 2021 so we travelled to Westhoughton for this first encounter. Our team of 7 ladies, captained by Clare MacLeod, fought very competitively and eventually prevailed, winning 4&3. Thanks to Westhoughton for a great match and the socially distanced hospitality offered. The picture demonstrates the good humour and spirit in which these matches are played. Harwood now moves on to the second round which will be against either Wilpshire or Lowes Park.
