Women’s Annual Invitation Day
Captain Kate hosted the Women’s Annual Invitation Day last Wednesday at Harwood Golf Club . Her fellow Captains from all the Bury and Bolton golf clubs joined her and our members with their personal guests, and everyone enjoyed a great day of golf, friendship and, luckily, sunshine. The course was in excellent condition thanks to our hardworking grounds staff, and the Women’s “Event Team” dressed the clubhouse with a lovely summery vibe. Sarah Wood of The Watering Hole laid on an excellent buffet in the evening. Winners on the day were Ann Teale from Chorley Golf Club with her playing partner, Vicky Boyes from Harwood, and runners up were Dot Scholes of Lowes Park with her playing partner, Harwood’s Rita Towler. Another great event put on at Harwood!!
